Position Responsibilities:
- Prospecting new customers
- Selling existing and new accounts via phone
- Scheduling visitations to clients
- Entertaining prospects and customers
- Develop creative means to break accounts
- Meet or exceed sales goals
- Large call volume required
Reports Directly to: Branch Manager
Reports Indirectly to: COO, President
Direct Reports: None
Education Level Required: High School diploma or equivalent, BS/BA a plus
Position Requirements:
- Proven track record of cold calling a plus
- Sales skills & experience a plus
- Exceptional time management
- Excellent phone presentation skills required
- Good computer and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Must be able to learn and get up to speed quickly
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving market
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated individual
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritize work and manage numerous tasks
- Strong mathematical ability
- Ability to resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner
- Previous steel sales experience helpful
